Nichole Graves, LPC, LADC/Mh
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, as well as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Mental Health in the state of Oklahoma. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oklahoma State University (GO POKES!), and I furthered my studies at the University of Central Oklahoma in the Master of Arts Counseling Psychology Program. After graduating, I worked towards licensure at a mental health and substance abuse agency in Guthrie, and this is where I discovered my dream of opening my own practice. Once I obtained full licensure, my husband and I moved home to Cushing, and I began practicing locally in January 2014. I am dedicated to providing support in anyway possible to my hometown, and I am honored to have the opportunity to begin giving back to the community in which I love!
I have many passions in my work, but I specifically enjoy working with survivors of trauma. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and I utilize Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also enjoy working with children and adolescents who struggle to manage behaviors within the classroom. While these are two areas in which I love to practice, I also work with many different individuals on ranging struggles. I enjoy working with clients to tackle whatever obstacle is presented!

Acknowledging you need help is not a sign of weakness but great strength. The decision to ask for and accept help can feel daunting, but you are not alone in this journey to healing. I believe we all have the capacity to heal from current and past trauma. I believe therapy is a partnership between the therapist and client, and as a therapist, I provide a safe and empathetic place for my clients to express themselves.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker Under Supervision for the state of Oklahoma. I graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2017. In 2018, I completed my Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Houston. I was an intern from 2016 to 2018 at the University of Houston in the Dean of Students Office, where I assisted students on their journey to healing and becoming successful students after experiencing a major mental health issue. Immediately after graduation, I moved to Perkins, OK, where I worked as a Special Education Teacher’s Assistant with students from ages 13 to 18 who have been diagnosed with autism. I also assisted students who were experiencing emotional and behavioral issues.
As a therapist, I do not believe in a one size fits all approach. I meet clients where they are in their journey to healing and recovery.
